Monthly Mentorship Opportunity (for Tutors)
The City Tutors invests in its volunteers' professional growth. Over 100 of our tutors are students from the CUNY system. They come from largely first generation and immigrant backgrounds. While they are academically strong, they are without an existing network that can position them for easy transition into post college life.

We offer our student volunteers, and recent graduates the opportunity to connect with various industry professionals for a 4 to 6 month mentorship. Tutors get their professional documents reviewed, and learn more about a particular industry/job title, while they serve the community. Tutors meet with their mentors once a month at a time convenient for both.

After filling out the interest survey, we will reach out to you to schedule a short (no more than 30 minutes) orientation with our Executive Director Garri Rivkin. You schedule meetings with your mentee at your convenience; we send check-ins monthly so we can troubleshoot problems as they arrive, and send you feedback from your mentee when your mentorship ends.
