Volunteer as a Tutor

Tutors…

• Work with students aged 5-65 on building their confidence in academic skills

• Work remotely with individual or groups of students

• Volunteer three hours per week for 15 weeks, or volunteer five hours during a month with no long-term commitment

• Can tutor in K-12 subjects; college-level subjects; or in adult ESL or adult HSE programs

• Participate in an industry-aligned training sequence designed to ensure that they are making the best use of their time with the student

Volunteer as a Mentor

Mentors…

• Work with individuals, most aged 18-34, on developing their career documents

• Support individuals in taking their next career steps, including resume reviews, interview preparation, and job exploration

• Work with program participants at a time that is flexible to their schedule, and that is self-paced

• Work with as many students as they have the bandwidth for at any given time.
